People seek out therapy for a variety of reasons. Some people are looking to alleviate symptoms connected to mental health issues, while others may want support and guidance in dealing with some kind of life stressor. Sometimes people start therapy because of conflictual relationships or a lack of meaningful connections with others that is getting in the way of a general sense of happiness or satisfaction in their lives.

Whatever the reason may be that brings someone into therapy, I do believe that change is possible. I also feel that when people are dealing with the types of issues mentioned above that healthy change and personal growth is best achieved when people are working with a reputableĀ therapist and when they are not feeling alone in their struggles.

It is incredibly meaningful for me to be able to create a safe space for people where they can work together with someone through whatever issues they are dealing with.
